Individual Insurance

We want to help you manage all of the curve balls life might throw you. With the proper insurance coverage, you can live your life and not have to worry about those little things that just might happen. No matter what your individual insurance needs, our experts have the solution.

Life Insurance

Most people don’t like to talk about it, but sadly, one of life’s only certainties is death. Being prepared is a smart idea and could be one of the greatest gifts you give your loved ones.

In the event of your death, life insurance can help you to ensure:

  • Your mortgage is paid off
  • Your car loan and other debts are paid off
  • Your household expenses and bills are paid
  • There is enough money to support and educate your children
  • There is enough money for your spouse/partner to live comfortably
Your Wealth Management Specialist is able to help you understand and determine the life insurance you need to meet your estate requirements.

Disability insurance

Should you become unable to work, disability insurance protects your earning power and will serve to replace your income and ensure your family is protected until you are back on your feet again.

Your ability to earn an income is your most important asset. Ask yourself:

  • Could you meet your financial needs if you were unable to work?
  • How would your family cope?
  • Are your credit rating and assets protected?
Disability insurance allows you to concentrate on getting well or coping with your disability without worrying about your financial obligations.

Critical Illness insurance

Surviving a critical illness, such as a heart attack, cancer or stroke, can turn your life upside down. It can affect you physically, emotionally and financially. Critical illness insurance will pay out a tax-free lump sum that has no requirements for how you spend the money you receive, unlike:
  • Health insurance which covers certain medical expenses, but may not cover all your expenses.
  • Disability insurance which provides a regular income to help you meet your daily living expenses, but may not provide enough money to pay all the additional expenses.
  • Savings and RRSP’s which provide additional financial resources, but using them reduces your retirement income.
  • Loans which provide additional financial resources, but create an additional financial burden for you, your family or your business.
Critical illness insurance provides you with a lump-sum payment to be used however you see fit. Whether you want to try alternative therapies, be treated outside of the country, hire someone to take care of you, or hire a nanny to take care of your children... you choose how to spend your money.
